Slap a band aid on it

Or a few extra keystrokes to cover up what had BETTER be my last Visited() bug for a while.  I keep thinking I've searched the thing for all of my visited() calls and yet new ones keep causing me grief.  Oh well, got this one all cleaned up.

Good as my... 2nd word

Minor update for Pleasures of the Knight is go, over on the download page.  There's about seven new pages composing about 2,500 more words, mostly "next mornings" for stuff that ended with a "and you fall asleep" fade to black sort of thing.  This gets just about everything ready for the next major update, which will, unfortunately, be about 90% coding.  Still it's pretty important.

In the meantime, enjoy!  Check out the ends of routes, maybe find some you haven't done before, uh...  Tell me about obvious bug and grammar errors I missed.  You know, the good stuff.

Delays

Sorry, apparently I missed that "This weekend" target, it turned out my family required like 14 hours of my time this weekend so I had way less time to work than I thought I would.  I'll try to finish it up tonight or tomorrow and get it right out for you guys.

PotK Minor Progress Report

Just as a heads up, should be a Pleasures of the Knight update coming down in the next day or two.  It's just a little one, filling out some passages that need to be in place before I can work on the more coding intensive Travel system, but most of them are extensions or completions for scenes you can already access, so I figured I'd give them to you rather than making you wait until the coding is done.

So nothing too exciting, but, well, basically an extra passage or two for most interactions with Frigg.  Sorry those of you who don't feel like going to meet her, you'll have to wait for the travel system before much else happens for you.

A question of finances

This is sort of a random thing, but I've been thinking about it anyways.  I, personally, due to reasons, don't have a lot of personal income.  This isn't some sort of plea to try to get more people to hit the donate button, though, quite the opposite.  Pleasures of the Knight is in a very early form, and though, in terms of raw text it's kind of long, any particular play through is going to be pretty short since a lot of the text went into filling out the options than making the game longer.  Still, my last (and next) game, Ghost Princess managed to pull a few donations at about this point along its development, and its got me thinking about what is different between them (Well, Ghost Princess is a little more conventional, for starters, but still).

Mostly, I'm curious what sort of things people would like to see added/improved/etc. going forward in Pleasures of the Knight, and maybe what sort of thresholds it would need to reach to make them want to donate, even if they don't actually.  I mean, I'm sure a decent portion of it is just it's not a very extensive project yet, it's rather risky to be tossing around support for something so unproven, but as this is the closest thing I have to a job (...  Ergh, that's kinda awkward to think about), I'd love to know what my, well, consumers think I could do to make my product better.  Comment here or in the TF Games Site thread ( http://www.tfgamessite.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6155 if you haven't stumbled across it yet) if something particularly comes to you as something the game definitely needs for you to feel its earned additional support.  Or if you just have an opinion about what I could do better.  I've gotten some positive feedback, but constructive criticism is super helpful if any of you have any of it lying around.

2.02, now with actual bug fixes

So, it turns out, in my last bug fix, rather than actually fixing bugs, I created one, and hid another.  It turns out with a very casual run through, a hidden bug looks fixed, fortunately a helpful player pointed out the one that I visibly broke, so now they are both properly fixed.  As such:

Minor Bug Fix

Did I mention there might be bugs?  There was at least one that I caught, and so it's fixed.  To avoid one problematic if statement, you can download:
